Why we started

There is a great deal of material aimed at people who are waiting for something, and most of it promises an ending: a date, a sum of money, a door about to open. It sells well. It also leaves the reader worse off, because when the date passes the only explanation left is that they did not believe hard enough.

So these books do the opposite. Every one is built on a schedule that already exists and can be checked — Psalm 91 has sixteen verses, Ephesians 6 names seven pieces of armour, and every promise has its chapter and verse. They are set in 17pt because the people reading them are older, and they end without asking anything of you.
